Qualified from Birmingham University in 1978.
Worked overseas in the Caribbean and New Zealand before completing General Practice training.
Before starting as a partner in Caldbeck in 2003 I was a partner in a large practice in Telford, Shropshire for 17 years where I was a GP Tutor and Trainer for GP registrars.
My particular interests are Womens Health and Palliative Care.
I also work as an appraiser for other GPs and am involved in Performance Reviews.
My hobbies are mainly enjoying the outdoors - mountaineering, ski-ing and recently I have been persuaded to do some caving! I enjoy travelling and do some trek leading for a company that specialises in visiting the Himalayas.
